日本大正6年(民國6年，1917年)成立的台南女中13日歡度100年校慶，不少校友都特別趕回母校，回味過往年少歲月；而校園內有棵百年金龜樹，樹下埋有學姐丁窈窕的髮絲，見證白色恐怖時期的迫害，也感受到有先人的犧牲與努力，台灣才有今天的民主自由。
台南女中樂儀隊走過司令台，而一旁金龜樹綠意盎然，伴著台南女中學生度過最青春的歲月，當中還包含丁窈窕的故事；當初丁窈窕在白色恐怖時期，被牽連到一起匪諜案，遭槍決身亡時才30歲，僅留下一搓頭髮和書信向友人告別，也因此這棵金龜樹又被稱為丁窈窕樹，讓學姐的精神得以長留在校園內。

還有愛情追求的一個校園故事
台南女中16號盛大舉辦100年校慶，邀請畢業的學姐回校來參加；其中民國65年畢業的3年16班，幾乎全員到齊，在校慶這一天，也是班級闊別41年之後的同學會。
