全國教育局處長會議在台南登場，會議主題標示出要「打造下一個教育新境界」，重點就擺在即將在103學年度上路的十二年國教。教育部長蔣偉寧再次強調，十二年國教絕對不會延期，不過要求各縣市在相關的配套制度上，一定要好全面的準備。

目前在各縣市已經加強偏鄉師資的補充，另外像嘉義縣市和新竹苗栗等涵蓋不同縣市的免試就學區，也在超額比序的規範上逐步整合，如果必要的話，在年底進行模擬演練之後，會進行修正。
