二二八事件滿69週年，不少受難者家屬，面對這段歷史傷痛，仍記憶猶新，新北市文化局特別舉辦紀念展，彙集當年戶籍設在新北市受難者的故事和人物照片，首次以新北市角度，帶民眾更深刻體會，二二八事件對在地所留下的深遠影響。
懸掛在特展的照片和文字敘述，都記錄每個二二八受難者的血淚故事，其中，這位居住在淡水的謝承達，在他三歲的時候，父親謝萬益是淡水高爾夫球場的經理，1947年時，駐軍要求徵收球場房舍，剛好看到他的父親在提領薪水現金，就把他給綁走，二個月後，卻被發現棄屍在球場的壕溝裡。

就這樣 後來撿骨有看到
他的頭腦有一個洞
就這樣敲掉了
想到父親這樣斷送生命，讓謝承達悲從中來，難以平復，同樣，在二二八事件中，痛失親人的，還有這位徐光奶奶，回想當天，全家人原本開心吃晚餐，突然來了四、五個便衣警察，就把爸爸徐征帶走，從此音訊全無，讓一家頓失依靠。
