三金影帝吳朋奉，他拿過金鐘獎迷你劇集最佳男主角，也拿過金馬獎最佳男配角以及台北電影節最佳男演員，演技備受肯定，也活躍於劇場界，因為他是劇場出身的演員。吳朋奉喜歡藝術方面的事物，像是小說、詩、音樂，尤其特別喜歡音樂，曾想過第一志願是當歌手、第二志願寫小說、第三是跳舞，第四才是演戲，但其實他是讀電子工程相關科系畢業，曾去印刷工廠上過班，也當過快遞，還主持過地下電台，也寫過台文詩發表在報章雜誌，也是積極上街頭參與社會運動的人士。他的人生故事豐富而精采，也反映在他的表演上，讓他演什麼像什麼，吳朋奉自曝龍劭華對他講過好幾次「為什麼你沒在演就可以得獎」。戲一演將近30年，在演戲這條路上，吳朋奉不是開心自己成為明星，而是對於自己能夠成為一位分享生命感動的創作者而感到幸運。
